Stunning Mookaite Jasper from Australia. The gem characteristically comes in several colours, most usually mustard yellow, which gives it its other common name of 'Mustard Stone'
Many other colours are common in the gem, including red, purple and cream. Often all the colours can be present in a cut stone.
These cabs are mainly shades of purple with cream and yellow tips.
The stones have a nice polish the the faces and are flat and unpolished on the backs
