Such an attractive cab! Deep orange Mexican Fire Opal in matrix.
The Opal is like a deep orange pool, running along the length of the cab, down the centre. From within its depths you can see green flashes when the cab is moved in the light - this is not a bright, showy display, like you get from Precious Australian Opal, but more a tempting glimpse of colour that makes you want to look more intently at the stone. The matrix itself is a mottled peach shade, with little tiny opal speckles. Small line on the face where there is a variation in the surface contours.
This is a high domed cab with a slightly convex base - fully polished.
