Conch Shell Round Cabs
These are stunning.
Beautiful little round, pink and peachy toned cabs. Many with banding from the shell layers.
I have been informed by my supplier that these cabs were cut from Conch shells, legally harvested from farmed Jamaican molluscs. Not from protected Florida waters.
Many of these cabs have a type of chatoyancy, formed by the unique structure of the shells fibrous make up. This type of effect is known as 'flame structure' Best seen in bright light.
Flat backed and fully polished. One or two have natural cavities on the backs
